Day 30: Play time. Work with toys, and maybe even work with kids!

Hannah: It is all G-ma's fault...so Legos it is! This is our very own Lego flower garden. Created by my lovely children and myself.

Rachel: Easy to work with kids when you have them! My daughter is fascinated by animal footprints (in part thanks to a lovely book Hannah gave her called Zoopa) so we took her little plastic animals and painted their feet and made a footprint picture.

  1. yeah legos! I have guessed who made each flower and will expect Hannah to confirm/deny. I will only share that I guessed Hannah made the tulip and Patchen made the windmill orange sunflowers.

  2. I really like the animal footprints and have shared the idea with younger grandchildren who have a zoo. Oliver would like to try it today, but he thinks it might be too "pretty".

  3. I actually created the traditional looking flower. You were right about Patch, but he also did the tulip. Corbin made the other beautiful one! Matias was doing homework.

  4. well, we used fingerpaints... it was a little jelly-ish. I think another type of paint may have worked better.
