Rachel: I really LOVE tea, so I was sure this would be a fun project. As it turned out, it was a little challenging because my 3-yr-old kept splashing tea on my paper, and also because tea goes on super light and dries much darker. It was very interesting in any case. I contemplated creating something with dry leaves, and I nixed the idea of using wet leaves, and in the end I went for painting with super strong tea (4 bags in a cup).
Hannah: This may be my favorite creation yet. I used Ginger Peach Tea and created a still life of a teapot. Tea leaves were really great to work with, I used a chopstick to move them around.
