Day 80: Try dyeing! Work with food or fabric dye.


Hannah: PINK PASTA! I may have taken the easy route by dying pasta, but I did love the color it ended up. My kids ate it right up!

Rachel: I followed the dyeing instructions here. I dyed rice. I don't have any wool or silk on hand, nor any coffee filters, nor fabric dye for cotton... so the rice got the dye. Interesting activity. My purple rice came out rather greyish-lavender, unfortunately. One of these days I'll glue it onto something and make a decoration, mandala, or another greeting card.

    the pink pasta is pretty but I thought you said tie dyeing and not try dyeing so I am a little disappointed but not very much...
