Hannah: I made a bell out of a clay pot and a chess piece handle. I put a glass bead for the ringer, unfortunately it doesn't sound all that great. I wanted to make something vintagey (my made up word) looking.
Rachel: this does not exactly "work" but it's a trombone made with paper towel rolls. If anyone has a hankering for making a really cool homemade instrument, this is the coolest I've ever seen: coolest homemade guitar ever
